Banksy egy párizsi műterem falára 2003 táján festette fel a képet, amelyen 3 idős hölgy bowlingozik, de golyók helyett bombákkal.

A rejtőzködő graffitiművész, Banksy egy 2003-ból származó alkotása, amelyen idős hölgyek bombával bowlingoznak, félmillió dollárért, vagyis 169 millió forintért kelt el egy kaliforniai árverésen. A Julien's aukciósház közleménye szerint a Bombing Middle England című kép árát az árverés előtt 200-300 ezer dollárra becsülték.
Az alkotást megvásárló licitáló nem kívánta felfedni magát.

A Julien's árverésén Banksy más művei is szerepeltek, emellett Damien Hirst, David Hockney és Shepard Fairey alkotásaira is lehetett licitálni.
